Stainless Steel 316 Buttweld Fittings, ASTM A403 WP 316 Pipe Elbow, UNS S31600 Fittings

SS 316 buttweld fittings are chromium-nickel-molybdenum austenitic stainless steel that exhibits good corrosion resistance, high toughness, and good welding properties comparable to SS 304.The material is very resistant to chloride-ion . It is also the world's second most often used stainless steel grade, after 304. The ASTM A403 WP 316 Pipe Elbow is shaped like an elbow to allow seamless direction change. It bends the pipes at an angle that can be readily supplied, commonly 45 degrees or 90 degrees. Long radius and short radius elbows are available depending on the application. The Stainless Steel 316 Pipe Fittings have minimum yield strength of 201 MPa and a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa, which refers to a good ss grade. In Brinell hardness scales, the hardness score is 217. The 4 percent molybdenum component in the material provides resistance to chloride ion corrosion cracking.
